  • i got the idea from the movie "in the nick of time" with johnny depp.

the storyline is that kidnapers take the main character's daughter/wife and force him to assassinate the governor. they give him a schedule of where shes going to be for the next 3 days and 5000$ for weapons and expenses. then the player must decide how and when to kill her. there would be dozens of ways to assassinate her, such as poisoning, sniping, car bombing, running her over with a car ect. if you get arrested or ki...

  • An open world third-person game with RPG elements in the mold of GTA:San Andreas, with a Wild West theme, done relatively stereotypically, but not comically.

Based on your actions, you become an outlaw, a sheriff, a cowboy, a trader, or an explorer, or a mixture of those roles. Possibly a parallel development thread in an Indian tribe, too.

Wanted level is permanent and only reduced by doing time or by compensating with good deeds: becoming a deputy or sheriff; "cleaning up the town"; ...

  • A guy named John White discovers over time through a series of weird coincidences that he is a genetically engineered attempt at the perfect human. After discovering this, and the coverup following an investigation from the FBI and CIA which found "no evidence" supporting who was responsible makes him realize that the FBI and CIA were in on it -- but because they were caught in the process from a leak could not continue the project and left him in the world, knowing that he could never find o...

  • Games like Portal and Prey have shown that non-euclidean portals are always a good thing to add to an environment. An idea I've had for somewhat longer doesn't involve just portals, but rather an entire world built in more than three dimensions.

The game could start off with the player locked in a house that seems normal for the most part. Interactive physics, a fun little bit of exploration. At some point, the player stumbles across a stairwell, door, or room that violates the laws of ph...

  • By "GTA-Like" I mean a very open-ended non-linear action game with RPG elements where you do various missions and gain money/items/experience. The Grand Theft Auto games are a good blueprint. You could be a bounty hunter doing missions for Jabba or a Jedi doing missions for the jedi council or Vader.

I think there's a lot you could do with this and it would be a lot of fun.
