Archon was an extremely cool game for the C64, that was similar to Chess but each piece for each side was a different creature that had different powers, and when you tried to "take" one of the other pieces/places it took you to another screen where you had to actually fight the other piece. It was extremely well done and addicting. Each piece had different powers and abilities.
I think this would be an extremely cool game ...
